    It should be straightforward if you follow this year’s JCQ regs.

    You will have to demonstrate that a scribe is the normal way of working in class, AND either spelling is so poor that words are indecipherable ( not just a SS below 85), OR handwriting is illegible, OR handwriting is so slow that even with 25% extra time the output doesn’t fall into the normal range.

    In addition, if you want a human scribe, you must show that the candidate is unable to word process or use voice dictation to a computer. If candidate meets illegibility/indecipherable criteria, and has WP skills, you should be able to get WP with spellcheck, by meeting the full scribe criteria.

    Make sure that whoever enters details via AAOL knows what they are doing.
