I have no experience of it but you’d have to demonstrate that the candidate would NOT have an advantage over other candidates by having access to a spell checker, and also that for them to not have a spell check would but them at asignificant disadvantage when compared to non-disabled candidates.

I think yourdescription of need and outlining why they need this arrangement would need to be very detailed and specific.

As you know, if they use a scribe they’ll lose marks for papers that test written communication/spelling and grammar unless they dictate every spelling the scribe (not realistic).
