Hi Joanna,
It’s amazing how many schools are unaware of the behavioural issues caused by SPD and the sensory integration neurodevelopmental framework which can prevent these symptoms. These symptoms are usually dismissed as being ADHD and ASD, and are often wrongly diagnosed.
It’s great work that you are committing to and something that I talk to school staff about on a daily basis.
It’s only a matter of time before neurology and evidence based practice creates change.
