Have a strict format which starts by outlining the detrimental effect on the learning of others, not being able to meet need (referral to specifics from The proposed plan), always use some references from professionals reports (EP/OT/SALT) and if can use any comments from the parental views which can support your reasons such as – needs a small environment, works well 1:1 (especially if don’t offer this), finds certain things Challenging. Make it personal to the child but be clear on why your centre is not appropriate. If you know of another provision locally that is more suitable, write your response with that
In mind (don’t name it) but steer away from lack of funds as you will be advised to apply for HNF to support you.
