The SENCO role is very busy, but as a primary school SENCO I taught 2 afternoons each week as PPA cover and a few SEND groups each week.
As a secondary school SENCO I support (team teach) the lowest English and Maths classes in Year 7, and support some year 10/11 students, more as a mentor.
