I work in a ‘high-functioning’; AS school. When the term was ‘officialy’ changed a number of years ago, the young people I worked with all continued to ne happy with ‘D’ as it was what they were used to. Personally; I use ‘AS’ after Autistic Spectrum. It avoids the inevitable stumbling that neuro-typicals have over this issue.
