I am a Year 11 tutor in a Special Needs School. I do a transition pamphlet to give to the pupils – basically a double sided A4 sheet – with the following in bullet points – how I learn, how you can help me learn, what motivates me, what makes me anxious/angry etc – will upload a blank one when i go back to school next week – it has proved a fairly effective tool – to give to new tutors at college placements and the pupils enjoy doing it.
