I know all of that – but if you could hear the difference in my daughter’s voice when she reads with and without her tinted glasses, you wouldn’t be able to take them off her. I wouldn’t pay for it if I didn’t think it helped and I know she can’t, for example, read a line of music without her glasses at all – but with them, she can sight read and play along with anything.

She was assessed via colourimetry (University of Essex /Professor Wilkins methodology) not an official Irlens assessor.

No one believed dyslexia was real when I was at school, and if an overlay seems to help, why not use it?
