My interpretation of the guidance is that whilst primaries are encouraged to stick to class bubbles, where this is not feasible, year group bubbles will be acceptable. On this basis, I am planning to run interventions within year groups, but not with children from different year groups. Interventions such as SALT will continue as adults can work with any children, not just one bubble. For children from different year groups who wouldn’t cope in mainstream full-time, we have created a new setting that will meet their sensory needs. It will have to be well staffed as there are children from EYFS to Year 6. Hope that helps!
