We already have support staff working with those students who are in school now (ages 11-16). The staff can’t maintain social distancing with some students. For these the staff have decided what they are prepared to do; some choose to wear face coverings for example. A risk assessment is in place and the H&S manager has informed other staff why some ‘rules’ appear to be disapplied.
I have spoken to the parents of the students involved to ensure they are happy.
I was told, in September, there can be movement of these staff between bubbles! Another risk assessment will need to be done.
