    It may be worth trying to take the initiative and asserting the significance of the SENDCo role on the whole school by highlighting sections 6.87 and 6.89 from the SEN Code of Practice 2014 and 2015 which demonstrate the government legal position on the need for the SEND role to be part of SLT working closely with the head teach and governors to determine SEN policy.
