I won a grant from national lottery and saved money by buying from wholesalers and made some things ourselves rather than buying from an expensive brand.
Get some statment pieces like mike ayres design and cheap disabilty aids have a large bubble tube.

The biggest saving was the interactive projector we bought a laptop, an x-box kinect , a projector and a program called pomotion which links it only a couple of grand rather than 8+ works really well
