If the student and parent have decided to take up a place offered, or applied for, then you will be acting in good faith and legally to send the documents.
You may wish to hold a meeting / with the parent/s and school/s at which to do this rather than send them by hand. This works well for all concerned as they feel equal and included – dependant on need I have done this as a one off mini AR type scenario for a multiple and complex needs student, over a special school dinner celebration – or as a larger multi pupil meeting afternoon school. In your invite/ RSVP to parents explain you mean to convey their child’s information/ docs/ files at this meetings, and do they give permission.
