I’m in an infant school, but I’ve started making an A4 passport for each of my semh / comm & int / phys / cognition & learning kids. They all have the ‘what people like and admire’ , ‘what’s important to me’ ‘what good support for me looks like’ me… on the front, then inside the semh kids have the escalation curve with typical behaviours and strategies at each point & the others will have learning strategies or communication strategies and signs of anxiety or needing help etc. I am planning to send these up to the new setting. It’s not as good as a handover but it’s something!! The most vulnerable remain in school due to safeguarding concerns, so I can work with them a bit.
