Interview questions that I normally ask, whenever the want a SEND consultant on panel, are:
Basic/ early questions about SEND including questions such as ‘Why would you like this position? ‘
Tell me what a positive SEND provision looks like?
Tell me about a time where you have implemented change and what was the impact?
Tell me how you have overcome staff resistance to change?
Tell me about a time you have dealt with a challenging circumstance?
Then safeguarding questions!
