    I would imagine like all confidential information (such as safeguarding or medical information) it should only be shared when appropriate and records kept in line with your internal gdpr policies. As an added layer, anything said to a psychologist during a 1:1 session for psychological wellbeing (ie not assessment purposes) should only be shared if it is a safeguarding issue eg expresses I tent to harm self or others, disclosure of neglect or abuse or criminal activity etc as you would expect if you saw a psychologist, counselor etc.

    A friend of mine very sadly lost a child to suicide and found out when she received inquest papers her child had expressed suicidal ideation to both the gp and a counselor but they had not informed parents of this. She is contesting legally whether this was the right approach, its worth thinking your policies through carefully .
