    I have nothing concrete to add to this, so I am sorry if it isnt useful. Go back to the person that has asked for a book scrutiny, and ask them specifically what they would like to achieve out of this, what would be the success criteria for them? Is it just a tick box operation for them? Your time may be better spent.
    Also ask yourself, what do you expect to see in the book scrutiny?
    Are you looking for supportive comments – is this usual in your placement?
    Are you looking at the students work, in comparison to non-sen, or the teachers support of the student – which may need a conversation with the teacher about how they support the student?
