    Ahh ok this is a lot clearer. I wonder if having the parents come in for a bit with a prefferd staff member there doing an activity that the child likes eg playing trains all together then slowly reduce the parent time in. To the point where it is the prefered memeber or members of staff there This can work if parent isnt working.

    I think you need to have the parent involved and a discussion around a plan moving forward like what you need from them to support the child in getting into school. Could also do a thrive referal ( not sure if they are in your area) but they do a lot of work with families around routines and rules and potentially seperation anxiety.
