    JCQ regulations recommend that supervised rest breaks are considered before processing an application for 25% extra time. However, if you consider 25% extra time to be appropriate, where a student has a medical condition formally diagnosed (stammer) by a registered specialist (NHS SaLT) then a Form 9 must be completed to confirm that 25% extra time is the candidate’s normal way of working. Form 9 needs to be supported with specialist evidence i.e. letter/report from SaLT. See page 36 of JCQ regs for more info. Hope this helps 🙂
