I would contact JCQ’s Nick Lait and ask about a member of staff sitting with him to turn each page so they can pre-warn of any diagrams with circles/holes on. If it was me i would go on to ask if the member of staff could describe the diagram (a bit like an oral modifier would). This may put him at a disadvantage but probably better than having a panic attack.
Who has diagnosed? I assume a mental health specialist and not just GP.
