She’s right – most tests should not be repeated in a short time frame. In addition, dyslexia alone is not evidence enough for ET.
If the evidence doesn’t suggest ET, look at other strategies – a reader / computer reader, supervised rest breaks, tinted overlays etc. JCQ have justifiably cracked down on overuse of ET, which unfairly advantages those who are not strictly in need of it for processing difficulties. Go for SRB instead – you’ll need to complete a SENDCo file note & can use all the assessments as evidence.
