Yes I get teachers to attend – a HLTA will cover their class. I help the teacher create a report as part of the annual review process but having them in the meeting is so useful. Teachers often give a good narrative of what is working well and equally what isn’t working. They can also answer those general questions that parents ask that, as a SENDCo, you haven’t got a clue what the answer is!
