I started as a SENCO a year ago and then started my NASENCO award (face to face) in September the same year. So far it has been a valuable course. I agree the academic writing and reading is time consuming. We have such busy lifestyles and responsibilities, I don’t think there is a course out there that will not be consuming.
Personally, I will get on to the NASENCO course. By the time the new version is out you would be nearing the end. All the best with what ever you decide.
