We don’t offer dyslexia diagnostic tests – too expensive and, unless the YP is really affected, unnecessary for exam access arrangements. I’m a qualified assessor, so I can test and apply for access arrangements from the JCQ. If the case is more complex, you may need help from a specialist teacher. There are dyslexia screeners available (GL assessment do one) which don’t look bad but I use the same paper based tests that would be used for a dyslexia diagnosis but would use less of them – I think these are better than the computer based ones.

Any help?
