I think it would be fine.. I am a SENCO at a secondary school and went through OFSTED a month ago; we are a new school and this year we are having our first y 1. Cohort. We use LEXIA. Power up and OFSTED. Would have wanted to see phonics. been explicitly taught.. all program on the OFSTED site are very primary like. So if you have one that works in secondary I would be grateful if you told me which one it is. Have all your reading ages ready. Percentages of improvement and what you do if there is no improvement, they liked that.
They also sample reading by asking you to get a group of students for them.
