If applying for extra time at GCSE or A Level the extra time needs to be due to below average speeds of working in two different areas. At higher education it’s different. It would need to be the students normal way of working and teachers would have to provide evidence that without the extra time they would be significantly disadvantaged compared to peers. You would need to complete part 1 of the form 8 with that information and then whoever carried out the assessment tests would need to complete a part 2.
