    If you have a SENDCo with the NASEN qualification at your setting it might be worth holding off until the NPQ comes out.

    There’s still uncertainty about when the NPQ will start though.

    Do you have an interest in leading SEND/inclusion as well as T&L and have the capacity to do the course ? Then go for it.

    I’d recommend your SENDCo is on the leadership team either way.
    The NASEN is very theory based and doesn’t particularly help you to do the job. NPQs are a lot more research based with the focus on developing your own setting.
