    Hi,

Again I’m secondary based but this year I have been employed alongside my SENCO designate role to lead on EBSA in my school.

I really recommend the resources from Staffordshire and West Sussex Councils as a starting point. Both are ahead of the game on this and I have been able to adapt as neccessary for my setting. I’m currently looking into EBSA and transition for my Pract Research project so happy to help where I can.

As John said, my successes have been when I was thorough with indicators and detailed with action planning. Child centred approach is crucial. My biggest barrier is time however as I teach a significant timetable still. Getting external agencies to support has been hit and miss especially in light of the issues with CAMHS.

    Happy to discuss further 🙂

    Lucy
