Increasing prevalence of SEN in some areas.
Getting the right support through outside agencies into schools to help pupils who need it (everyone is overstretched at the moment).
Also in some schools Senior Leaders don’t understanding how the SENCO job relates to wider school practices this is often dictated by local politics and school culture, but is very dependent on context and setting.
