Thanks Katherine. In the past, I have had an observation of one of my intervention groups, which I will probably do again, and then take your advice re the professional discussion around the role and personal/professional development.

Gunay and Sam, look up the SENCO workload report https://www.bathspa.ac.uk/projects/senco-workload/ which has a guide in the back about size of school / proposed time. I think, when I looked there should be 1.5 of me full time, which there isn’t – I have 1 timetabled and supposedly uninterrupted day for paperwork and I have about 12-15 pupil contact/teaching hours.
