Hi
Last year, I was teaching in Year 1 and handling SENDCo responsibilities. It was difficult because there was a lack of time for paper work, and I also noticed some gaps in teaching and mentoring the class. As a result, my school assigned me the full position of SENDCO, but I am currently covering some SEN interventions such as teaching a numeracy group, emotional literacy, and spelling sessions. As a result, I have 20 hours of teaching time plus 7 hours of SEN paper work time.
