Academies and free schools don’t have to follow the national curriculum exactly I believe. We actually aren’t an academy yet but I think the kids possibly do “holiday French” a lesson a week. Although I will speak to the Head of MFl as it is a good point. It’s been going on for years though and we have got Ofsted Outstanding and it was never pointed out before. Interesting to discuss though.
