Is this a specialist provision? If not, it’ shouldn’t be permitted –

he national curriculum for maintained schools in England stipulates that the teaching of foreign languages is required at key stage 2 (ages 7–11) and key stage 3 (ages 11–14). This can be in any modern foreign language (MFL).
