From my understanding and with particular reference to our LEA, the school needs to show how this is impacting a child’s learning before they can consider offering funding. It also depends on the setting you’re in – for example, if you’re in an independent setting, getting additional funding can be really difficult. Are you considering pursuing an EHCP?
