To be honest, I think the amount of time to do the full role properly to meet all requirements would require all of us SENCos to be cloned 5 times. I have 25 EHCPs, 203 on the SEND register … I have a part-time admin, an 8-4 assistant senco (non-teacher) and me. I am AHT, SENCo, teach 12 lessons a week, responsible for PP, EAL, extra-curricular, LAC. It is completely impossible. With that many on role, I would think the parent liaison would be huge too.
