For me it would be dependent on level of need, for e.g if they have a visual timetable at school I would send a morning and evening routine timetable home.
I would spend time supporting the parents in finding ways to use it whether they come in and meet with me or through a weblink that I research.
Otherwise if it is mainstream support I would do as Kelly does but remain in constant contact with parents to add any information to a weekly log sheet. I persist by telling parents it will take some time to adapt to it all so give it a trial period of half a term to a term.
