If was doing this I’d start by asking parents what they’d like to know more about – behaviour strategies, learning activities, sleep routines, sensory behaviours, what’s expected at various ages and what to do if a child isn’t following that pattern, info about different SEND (DLD, diff between speech and language, working memory, slow processing, attachment and trauma, ACES, combating ACES, neurodevelopmental issues, specific and general learning difficulties and of course “why getting a diagnosis doesn’t mean you need an ehcp and why an ehcp doesn’t equal 32.5 hours 1:1.” )
