Hi, I used to do this in the form of a weekly 1 page roundup that was sent to staff each week. I included information about individual students; strategies to try with students with different needs; SEND events, training and national/ international awareness days and ideas for the classroom; upcoming information about new assessments (SALT/ EP/ EHCP etc); results of interventions; dates and times for new interventions; requests for information for NWOW for Access Arrangements… sometimes I had too much to add but as time went on, I found that I was giving shout outs to members of staff who had made headway with some of the more challenging students, that kind of thing.

It’s a great way to put SEND at the forefront of the school.
