Sorry that this isn’t advice. I hope you don’t mind me jumping on, but I have a similar situation. SEN pupils getting into bother. Our behaviour policy is rigid and poor attitude and inappropriate behaviour is stamped out. I saw your post and thought I would comment so that I too can see the suggestions.
I was involved in a very tricky PEX meeting of an EHCP pupils and very much want to avoid this happening again.
