That’s a tricky one. I usually get students to practice answering exam papers using the laptop, as it’s their usual method of working… but you certainly have a point, which I would advise you to take up with the JCQ/exam board. You can also include a note/attachment after the exam, for special consideration if you or the invigilator spot this happening. However, I wonder if the answer matches the examiners answer paper, whether they would look upon this empathetically??
