I would say, I’ve just done this module for NASENCO and I wouldn’t choose PDA (which i have experience of as an SEN teacher) as it’s notoriously difficult to support, to the extent that many of these children end up out of education for long periods, and inconsistent in presentation. Reducing the anxiety, offering different tasks on bad days, allowing the child increased choice / control over their learning and understanding that compliance may be tuning out (thus retention of learning is lost) seem to be the most suggested strategies.
