    Not sure if the word document needs to have the questions listed in order, but if not a few suggestions (you may have already tried so ignore if you have)
    – Use a ruler to put under the question so the student can easily look back across to where they are working
    – Tick the question when it is completed (or cross out the number – I haven’t seen the papers so not sure how much space there is so crossing out the number might be easier)
    – Number the question in the word document, so if they are out of order in there (if a student goes back and completes a missed question) the marker still knows which question the answer relates to
    – The student will need to practice which ever solution they are given multiple times in order for them to be proficient with it in the exam
    – They could also circle the number of the questions they didn’t answer to make it easier to find them when they review the paper
